Notes
The 4.6x30mm is a German made PDW (Personal Defense Weapon) cartridge created by Heckler & Koch for use in their MP7 Personal Defense Weapon and the HK UCP/P46 (Universal Combat Pistol), and semi-automatic pistol. The HK UCP never made it past the prototype stage
The 4.6x30mm PDW Cartridge is widely known to have armor piercing capabilities and to be more accessible in terms of felt recoil and follow up shots compared to that of classic military sidearm and PDW cartridges. With its light weight bullets, generally ranging from 20-50 grains, and low-mid range muzzle energy, the 4.6x30mm falls short of the 5.7x28mm Cartridge, its direct competitor.
